• Payment information — processed and stored by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• App data — formulas, batch logs, fragrance library entries, and other content you create inside the app. This data is stored in your individual account and is only accessible by you.
• Usage data — basic analytics to improve app performance

2. How We Use Your Data

• To operate and maintain your account
• To process payments through Stripe
• To provide customer support
• To send account-related notifications such as billing receipts and trial expiration reminders

3. Email Communications

We currently only send transactional emails related to your account. We may introduce optional marketing emails in the future. You will always have the ability to opt out.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Supabase — for secure data storage and authentication

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable law.

5. Your Data

Your candle formulas, batch logs, and other app content belong to you. Only you can access your individual account data. We do not view, share, or use your candle data for any purpose.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections and secure authentication. However no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

Candle Makers Compass is not intended for users under 13 years of age.

We may update this policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
